Proper nutrition is extremely important no matter what your goals are especially when dieting or trying to gain weight because it is very simple to lose nutrients your body needs to maintain its health. As far as gaining weight in a healthy way, using nutrition products becomes even more important. For example, many athletes including the womans olympic soccer team use meal replacement shakes after workouts, not neccessary as a "meal replacement" as people trying to lose weight do, but as an extra meal to gain the nutrients and calories. There are so many things to use with a proper nutrition diet. If you want to learn more, shoot me an email and I would love to help you out.

My friend told me to take a pretty large list of non-steroid supplements in order to gain weight. I have almost the exact same body type as you, but i'm 16. Here's what he told me to do:
Mon. - Fri. (take 1/2 of labeled serving)
-whey protein
-glutamine
-creatine
-BCAA
then Mon.-Fri. (full serving labeled)
mangesium, calcium, fish and flax oil, and a multivitaman

then make sure to drink nothing but the most organic juices you can find, but things like gatorade are okay.

Run on weekends and work out (lifting weights without sweating tooooo much, cuz you'll lose weight) Mon. - Fri.

No matter what you do, there will be money involved. To gain weight, you gotta get the calories inside you. That means more food and supplements. Think of it as math, to gain weight, you need to add food, to lose, you need to subtract food. And food cost money!
