Why on Earth does it cost $200 dollars to buy Microsoft Word 2007? All it is a little program where you type and print. I looked at the older versions, hoping they would be free, but the lowest I saw was $50! I really hate those people at Microsoft Office. I don't get it, does it come with a Ferrari?

Use the free OpenOffice Suite. Does the same as Micro$oft Office.

Don't even consider using microsoft word. Horrible waste of money, yet every school uses it.

Go with Ron's advice of openoffice.org. If you don't like that, you could try abiword, but openoffice should be just fine.

Or you can pay $100 and get the Microsoft Home and Student Edition. It comes with Microsoft Word, Excel, Onenote, and Power Point. All of them are 2007 version.

Why don't u download it from their website?...man, those people have no love for us, don't they?...well, prices are going up, so let's just live with it!
