Here's why I think it can be very unfair.

Some poor criminals will plead guilty because the time till trial is almost as long as the maximum sentence for a guilty conviction. And they may actually not even be guilty.

A rich criminal who may be 100% guilty can enjoy life after paying bail and just hope the trial gets delayed and delayed.

This is not justice to me.
