Say we have a polygon known as an equilateral pentagon. An equilateral pentagon is a pentagon where all sides are equal.

An erp is an equilateral right pentagon, that is, an equilateral pentagon which has at least one interior angle of 90 degrees.

A serp is an erp with at least one line of symmetry.

1) Draw an example of a serp which contains exactly one right angle. Mark its line of symmetry with a dotted line.

2) Draw three differently shaped serps each with two interior right angles. Mark in the line of symmetry for each serp.

3) Calculate all the angles of all serps that have two interior right angles next to each other.

4) Explain why an erp cannot contain more than two right angles.

PART 1:
Draw a "house shape" (a square with a triangular roof).

PART 2:
See above for 1. Now draw one with the roof inverted. Finally draw one with angles 1 and 3 as right angles.

PART 3:
For the house shape, 90-150-60-150-90
For the invert roof shape. 90-30-300-30-90

PART 4:
Impossible to draw them.

The rules say that Q's 1 - 4 are meant to be completely your own work. The Erps and Serps is question 3, so, no help allowed.
